Aims and Scope

The Journal of Language and Translation (JLT) publishes papers and studies on English language teaching and translation within the scope of applied linguistics. More specifically, the areas include:

  • Foreign and second language teaching
  • Teacher education with focus on ELT
  • Language assessment
  • Translation studies
  • English for Specific Purposes (ESP)
  • English for Academic Purposes (EAP)
  • Psycholinguistics
  • Sociolinguistics
  • Early Childhood Education

The Language and Translation Journal invites researchers to submit previously unpublished papers within any one of the aforementioned realms of study. Papers should be mainly reports of genuine research studies with all necessary details of the procedure and data analyses. Drafts, which need to be submitted online via submission link should be between 5000 to 8000 words, including tables, figures, references, and appendixes. Please note that submissions via emails will not be considered for possible publication.
